I NEVER wish for injuries to our team but in this case I WILL!!!
hopefully Chicago hurts Smith so i dont have to see his pathetic ass on the field for the rest of the season
You are f**ked up
Hey when something is broken u fix it & this case its the QB i know Singletary wont pull him asap but my buddy Mr Injury will without a hesitation
dude wishing injuries on people is f**ked up.
Okay so than we go Hill and continue the same s**t just by losing my more points because that guy doesnt know how to score. He sucks so does smith.
Smith>Hill
who said Hill will come back to be the starter???
Singletary will get smart & like he has said all through the season he's going to put the best 11 players on the field the ones that give him the best chance of winning after seeing what Hill brings to the table (NOTHING by da way) he'll roll the dice with Davis just like he did when he threw in Crabtree after all the receivers wont doing jack a few weeks ago
As long as your not preeching for hill lol
Ohh trust i am not
i dont back Hill nor Smith
am tired of seeing all these mediocre QB's
I miss Jeff Garcia so much well at least the younger version of him

"I saw a quarterback throwing the ball pretty effectively, for the most part. As far as the fumbles are concerned, once again we have to look at it and go from there. I'm a little surprised that he hasn't fumbled more. When you get a quarterback that's coming in new and not taken any snaps during the year, these are some of the things that you're going to have early on. I thought for the most part that Alex did a good job. I really did."
Singletary.
Singletary.

The others were either O line break downs (which are very frequent) or receivers who cannot hold onto the ball. IMO Morgan deserves the bench next week and lets see what jones can do out there with hill as well. Lay off the past... Alex was QB of some awful teams here, he now has some players, but he has to have the time to A. get the ball to them, and B. they have to CATCH it!
Three Points
1. All QB's face passrushes...it's how they handle the pressure that defines them. Alex Sucks.
2. Successful QB's are not only accurate but they can lead their WR's into passes. Alex Sucks
3. The Offense we run is based on timing, from the QB to the WR. Alex Sucks.

Jeez, you guys are ruthless and pretty dumb, if Morgan had come back to the ball on both of those curl route picks I don't think either would've been intercepted.
And sometimes picks happen. Didn't Kurt Warner just throw 5 picks last week or something? You knee-jerk reaction fantasy football guys luckily aren't in charge of teams. Except maybe the washington Redskins.
SHUT UP NEWBIE!!!!
I guess I stand corrected
No u dont
bad comparison
Alex Dilfer isnt close to being Kurt Warner
Good players have those type of games a few bad ones & alot of good ones
with Smith you get alot of average games & alot more Bad games
See the Difference?????????
SO CALLATE!!!!!!!
Lol Smith has not really played in a lot of games as Kurt , please stick to watching football and please don't write about it

No...alex smith lost this game.
Huh?
Christ on a cracker...watch some football!
The first pick was late, but Crabtree didn't even TRY to come back to the ball. It was tipped and picked.
The second pick was on Alex, no doubt.
The third pick went off of Morgan's hands.
Adam Snyder sucked today. He was awful. Take a look at both fumbles...then tell me that Alex was to blame.
Tony Wragge was painfully average today. After David Baas left, he was woefully inadequate in protection.
The receivers failed to cut off their routes on blitzes. Terrible.
The defense gave up WAY too many big plays today. Goldson got stung deep twice. Roman left his man to cover the run surrendering a key first down. Last but not least...the D had the Titans pinned deep in their own end late, and let them off of the hook. Lack of gap discipline led to big plays, period. Can't pin that on Alex. That's on the D, plain and simple.
And finally...the entire offense was unable to execute on third down. That is the beginning and the end of the problem this team has, hands down.
Until the offense converts on third, our D will play too many snaps, and we will fail to win games.
To summarize:
This team has some issues to address. But those of you who want to pin them on one guy need to watch the whole game. Alex was average today...and the rest of the team lost their composure late. The D didn't stand up when it had to. The O didn't convert when it had to. As a result, an inexperienced quarterback had to try to win the game by himself, and he failed. That's what cost us the game.

Fact...when Alex Smith is under center two things happen. 1.) We lose more games. 2.) We increase our turnovers by a VERY large percentage. The turnovers today cost us the game.
Fact...when Shaun Hill was our starter he didn't turn the ball over which kept us in games. Sure, he's not even close to the most talented QB on our team but correct me if I'm wrong he's the ONLY QB on the roster with a winning percentage.
Also, didn't we play the crappiest D in the league today? How embarrassing to make lame-a** players look like Pro Bowlers. This team is FRUSTRATING!

Are you really telling me that our O line lost that game, or that P Harelson missing one tackle lost the game. Let me give you the line on Mr. Smith again...2 TD (1 did not matter), 3 INT, 2 Fumbles...are you kidding me? That is beyond incompetent. That is trash-B-league-horse sh*t. When are some of you going to stop making excuses for Smith? Or can we please just start calling him the original Kevin Riley?
Our piss poor O line actually gave Smith some time today. Were they perfect? Hell no, because they suck, but please don't pin those horrible passes on the O line. He had time during each interception. Even Gannon could not stop talking about how poor Smith's fundamentals are. I mean Vince (you are just as terrible) Young looked better than Smith.
Also, please don't tell me what we need in next years draft. Until we have a franchise QB, we need a franchise QB. That is THE #1 rule in football. If you dont have one, you take one.
I came on this site for the first time after the Houston game (which I went to) and told everyone not to get to excited about Smith because he played well in one game. The next week, he basically managed a game against the Colts that we lost. Then everyone begged Sing to let Smith throw the ball and he did. Guess what? We lost and he was horrible, miserable, and just plain awful.
Friends don't let friends drive drunk and 49ers have been hammered driving around in little Ford Pinto for nearly ten years now. It is time to take the keys. We have a standard which is not being met or kept by the Yorks and we need to press them to start putting an acceptable product on the field. The Brown's Lerner recently had a public forum to hear fans complaints. Shouldn't the 49ers do the same thing? We aren't much better at this point.

Dude. Stop. Now.
1) Shaun Hill is a backup at best, and he's shown it this year. If you even try to argue this, you'll prove exactly how little you know about the game.
2) Today marks Smiths second start in two years, so Smith losing games and turning the ball over is based on his time under McCarthy and Hostler. Let's wait and see how he does next week, shall we?
3) If you follow football, you know that a big part of the Titan's problems were injuries in their secondary...and the players that were out for the blowout vs. New England were on the field today.
I thought the Niners would win this game, but this loss is on the TEAM, not just one guy.
