LOL cheap route I knew it.
What would have been a better option?
Jon Runyan.
That's assuming that he would even want to play out here.

Per a league source, tackle Jon Runyan has been cleared to play after offseason microfracture surgery to repair an injured knee.
We're told that three teams are interested in Runyan. According to the source, Runyan rejected an opportunity to sign a contract last week because he didn't want to play for the team in question.
Oakland Raiders? We're looking at you.

He probably can't pass a physical. We're not the only team hurting for OL-men. There's a reason he's still unsigned.

John Runyan had microfracture surgery. Small skinny athletes might be able to come back for awhile from that type of surgery, but great big offensive lineman have no chance. He's done, move on.

(be gentle on me)
But honestly, I think I would probably sign Kwame Harris for a few games. At least the guy can run-block.

If Runyan is healthy and ready to sign to a team, then why hasn't received offers (ignoring the Raiders offer in question)?

I wish I could tell you. Why don't you or someone ask Schefter that on his twitter??
