Rotate him in for Haralson on 1st and 2nd down and for Lawson on 3rd and long. Haralson looked like a better pass rusher then Lawson but Lawson is very good at forcing the run back to the middle of the field.

Did not say start Brooks. When he does play he should rotate in for Haralson on run downs and Lawson on 3rd and long.

Did not say start Brooks. When he does play he should rotate in for Haralson on run downs and Lawson on 3rd and long.

So basically (according to your OP), you want him in on every down except 3rd & short, but you don't want him to start. Got it.

BTW - Sing has stated he's not starting because he hasn't learned how to play the run yet. Doesn't sound like pulling Haralson for Brooks on running downs would be an improvement
