I call BS on this, but I have been hearing otherwise that we're still having radio issues with the helmets.

Maybe I'm missing something, but why does it matter who calls the plays in the huddle? Is Pwilly half-deaf and calls the wrong play sometimes? Or does he not announce the play in the huddle with enough conviction? I'm pretty sure coaches don't communicate during the plays.
I dont' see the connection - can someone enlighten me?

he's too busy fighting the voices in his head to hear the play call.

I think it has to do with making sure that his teammates are lined up properly. Roman used to wear the headset and he was at safety so he had a real good look at the whole field. So he could direct traffic pre snap. Im not sure Willis`s strong suit is setting up the defense pre snap. Hes more like a animal that you just turn loose.

Exactly, communicating the play Manusky calls is a totally different matter. The radio has nothing to do with pre-snap alignments or adjustments or coverage calls.

This is the webzone. Without that smiley face, it would not have surprised me if you were serious.

P-Willy is over rated. ILB is the easiest position to get position from. Its just about opportunities. Theres no difference between Willies and Ulbrich.

Not counting the touchdown as a result of Battle's fumble, the niners held the explosive Texans to 17 points even though their offense kept going 3 and out in the first half.
If Roman doesn't take that poor angle on Slaton's run, they probably don't get the field goal.
Our defense is fine. Why can't Patrick Willis call the plays? Most every other MLB calls the plays on defense.

I never liked Willis. He's such a tackle hog. Doesn't let anyone else get in on the action.
He's also hits unnecessarily hard.
Yeah, and I hate it when he gets interceptions, I bet that really hurts the other team's feelings.
I know right? He's so incinsiderate of the other teams feelings. I also hate when he makes so many plays instead of stepping aside and letting mark roman tackle everybody. Can you say "stat hog". I bet we couldn't even get a fourth round pick for this guy.
