... clock managment !
he always cost us at least one delay of game per game
Today against the texans i think it was two or three plus one time out to avoid penalties
And a huge one at the end of the game plus he forgot to call TO once ...
He had a great game under the circumstances but those kind of mistakes are inexcusable at this level after so many years
For once Raye has nothing to do with this (time to give the play call cos Hill never had that problem)
The coaching staff hasn't correct this problem with him yet (there's a few coaches that are with the team for 4 years now) ... wow !
So mixed emotions after the game : smith should probably take over at QB but he's a s-l-oooooooooo-w l-e-a-r-n-e-r

you are exactly right. spiking that ball and making bad plays on 2nd and third down then forcing us into 4th and long. We should bench him for Nate Davis

He hasn't played in some time but I'll take the fact that he can put up points and Hill can't. The team will be better with Smith in at QB.

Fact is Smith probably hasn't had the time to practice the no huddle since training camp. His unfamiliarity with the system probably had a lot to do with it.

Awful..... They didn't seemed to know what they wanted to run towards the end.
They were too busy trying to wake up Raye from his usual nap during games.
I think Raye did a nice job adjusting and calling plays in the 2nd half today. he needs to show this same type of balance throughout the game. the ol has contributed to the s**t game calling maybe now with smith in there we will continue to open it up.

the post is about the DELAYS that are a trend with smith

Well hill can't throw past five yards but alex can. so i'd rather go with alex next week and not be down by 21 points and loss by 3 fing stupid.

I hate the spike. It wastes a play and you could run a play in the same time.
I agree with your spike comment. Though, I don't think we should ave used a timeout.
I hate the spike unless it's an absolutely must. meaning times running out and you're not going to get to use all 4 downs anyway.

As bad as it was, clock management isn't the reason why we lost.

It would have been horable if it was a mistake.
