Loss to Houston: Are Our Playoff Dreams Over ?

Well folks.........this is make it or break it time in Ninerland. Losing to Houston puts us at 3-3 going into Indy, which is a guaranteed loss (please, for those that think we actually have a chance there, dont kid yourselves). Tennessee should be an easy one, followed by some tough games against Chicago and GB. It doesnt end there, cause we still got to play the Eagles, Cards, and Seattle (on the road).

I dont know about you, but this is a make or break game. If we lose to Houston, which is not the best team out there, we will probably end up going into the Jags game on 11-29 at 4-6. Which means we have a LONG way to climb to win the division.

If we lose tomorrow, game over man..........game over.

There's no doubt about it that it's an important game and a loss would make things difficult especially if the Cardinals win (they have a tough game against the Giants this weekend), but it's not a make or break game just yet.

even if we win this game, sneak into the playoffs as a wild card, we're still not gonna do anything. Not until we get a legit QB.
Yep. Season over. If we lose to the Texans, we WILL lose to the Colts and fall to 3-4.

Season over.

i are sensing sarcasm
This isn't a must win game IMO, but close to it. We have a very tough stretch over the next few weeks. After the Texans we go back on the road to play Indy, and we've done poorly in back to back road games in the last few seasons. Then we have the Titans and Bears at home, and then back on the road to GB. The schedule gets easier after that with Jax at home, our 2nd games against the Hawks and Cards, @ Phily, back home for the Lions, and then we finish the season on the road in Stl.
I see 4 games that SHOULD be easy wins. We need to win, at the very least, 3 more games to ENSURE a play-off run. That would give us 10 wins, but where are those 3 gonna come from?
@Hou - ?
@Indy - ?
Tenn - W
Chi - ? as of now they have NO running game
@GB - ? Can't protect Rodgers
Jax - W
@Sea - ? Always tough at home
AZ - ? This game could decide the divison when it's all said and done
@Phi - ? Raiders beat em! Why can't we?
Det - W
@Stl - W

Can we please save the negativity until after the game?

If we lose, we lose, but giving up hope? There are 10 more games after this one, so no, I'm not going to pack it in if we lose.
Yup season over
Why are we even talking about playoffs, let's look like an NFL team before we talk about playoffs.

This is the type of game that will separate Singletary from Nolan.

If Singletary can prove that his D will keep Schaub in check and utilize Crabtree and Pashos correctly for the win, then it will be a huge boost in the 49ers momentum.

If he can't do any of that, he'll slowly emerge to Singletary fans and haters as the second coming of Nolan.
Not in the division we are in. Winner could go 9-7.
I would say pretty much that if we lose this game we will not make the playoffs.

Exactly, being objective we beat a Super Bowl hangover Cardinal team, Hasselbeck gets hurt right before they start to get things going, Rams nuff said , meanwhile amassing almost bottom of the barrel stats in Offensive production, anyone who thinks this team is good is fooling themselves. The D can be good at times but with clowns like Roman starting it doesn't look good. And despite all the love, Hill can't throw his way out of a wet paper bag. If they beat Houston they have a shot , but a loss could start the downward spiral , not being negative as much as a realist
you guys suck
