Yup, Spurlock was so worth keeping over Rossum.

Rossum looked completely lost in the early season games he played.
Doesn't anyone remember, or all the things they posted during those games right here on this forum?

I think its good, it will give coffee more time on the field, maybe it will help him open his eyes up and find holes, so when he is in the backfield he may get back to his old ways (from college)

Rossum is trash. I wanted to look for an upgrade all summer and I guess our coaches didn't feel like it. Horrible decision by them.

I'm kind of interested to see how it will go. Battle has not impressed, Spurlock can't catch the ball, and recently Walker hasn't done much for me to be excited.
Personally, without watching practices I would put Hill or Jones back there. As far as I know they are both speedsters, especially Hill, and it would be nice to see them on the field.

Reggie Smith is hurt so he's out. I have no problem with the release of Rossum but I would stick with Walker or Battle. Walker was a kick returner in College. Spurlock is a waste of a roster space in my opinion. He and Bruce are just taking up space. Brandon Jones has returned punts but I don't know about kick offs. He has some decent speed too.

If Jason Hill has the speed, then I wouldn't see why not.

Have you guys been watching them in practice to see who is giving them their best chance at returns?
Me neither. Waiting for someone who has to set the record straight here.
Just saying.

The point is he was waaaaaay better than those two have ever been, and now we're stuck with Coffee back there.
