does anyone else feel better with the loss today compared to the loss against the the vikes?
sure this sucked to watch our team get destroyed and embarassed like this, but you now there would be days like this. the vikings loss was just heart breaking.
i didnt want to even watch football for like 5 days after the vikes loss. this one just makes me glad we have a bye and time to fix things hopefully. but bly still needs to be disciplined along with walker.

I was wondering when this thread was going to show up...
To answer your question, yes this loss doesn't bother me as much. I rather lose in a blow out than have my heart broken by some last second fluke.

Any loss to Favre, the Packers, and/or Cowboys is gut wrenching at its finest. Im still not recovered from that Minnesota loss.
Hell, I still havent recovered from the 1995 NFC Divisional, 1996 regular season (Don Beebe rule), 1996 Divisional (no Young), 1997 NFC Championship, 1998 regular season, 2001 Wild Card, 2002 regular season, etc. And these are all the games Favre shoved it up our ass............

This loss is much harder to stomach than the Viking loss.

just an observation but i noticed alex and crabtree were talking a lot during the game and they were practicing together before they seem to be good friends

This loss was worse. Why, because the whole team looked like garbage.
The Vikings loss seemed bad but we didn't really outplay the Vikings in that game. If it were not for that "10 point play" to end the 1st half the 9ers lose that game by two touchdowns as well. The Vikings game hurt because it could have been a W, it was sooo close, but not because we outplayed Minnesota.

yup. the vikes game was encouraging because of the effort and quality of play.
this game was just embarrassing, pathetic on every front. nothing good to pull out of it at this point.

this loss by far for me is easier to take. we straight up didnt come to play, we had the bye wk plans in our minds. i know for a fact this team can play better. theres nothing worse than losing a gm at the last second, against a good team, at their place especially against favre and some crazy miracle bs. i just realized funny how f**king dre being dre dropped an easy pick 6 that wouldve ended the gm against the vikings but then decides to pick 1 off when were getting blown out

For my personal health I'd prefer losses like the one today versus heart attack ones like in Minnesota.
I had a mixture of disgust and calmness by the middle of the 3rd quarter. I knew it was over, it was just a question if we could salvage some respectability. We did not.
It also was better that I was at the game so I could not throw tantrums like I would if I was watching it on TV.
What also helped a little was the super hot chick sitting directly in front of me was showing off her great combination of low-rise jeans and lace red thong the whole game. Probably the only good thing I can take from today's experience.
