Okay, whoa! Our team has and has had a nickname for our defense. It is the Gold Rush. Nothing could be more apt given the name of our team. It has been around as long as Purple People Eaters, Fearsome Foursome, Orange Crush, or longer. There is something to be said for tradition. Don't throw it away for some short lived "Crimson Swarm" fad.

Man, I really love this defense - everything about it. The swarming to the ball, the hard hitting, and the turnovers. No opposing QB we've faced has had a walk in the park. The scary thing is, we're gonna get better and that's bad news for opposing teams.
