Will Lawson Record his first sack of the season this week?

Will Lawson Record his first sack of the season this week?

I don't care about sacks I care about pressure. Create that QB to make mistakes and give the ball back to the offense
i like lawson a lot, but i'll admit he's average at best
Maybe ?

But IMO Manusky will keep him back and let him and Willis beat up on Peterson all day.

I'm sure we will depend a lot on Smith, Haralson and McDonald to provide a lot of pressure, it would be nice to allow Manny to tear after the QB, but his speed will be needed to keep Peterson in check

Hummm....so it looks like a lot of other folks are asking the same question about Manny, ehhh?

They are trippin because you made a post that someone else made just minutes before you did.

I guess they think it never happens that out of hundreds of posters, 2 can come up with the same question. I agree with you, they is tripping acting as if this a crime.

I is not be trippin
in before Fidel Castro lock....that seems to be the theme here

good one

No sacks but Manny has played solid so far this year so laugh at that hater

Wont' he be matched up against McKinnie on Sunday? That's not favorable for him. He's always matched against the stud LT actually. Does that have something to do with the disparity between Parys and Manny's production? Is the whole LT vs RT thing overrated?

No b/c Manusky moved both Haralson and Lawson back and forth last game but neither did much of anything against a weak Seattle o-line.
I think it's a possibility. He's going to go against Loadholt, and from watching Oklahoma last year, I didn't like his NFL prospects as a pass blocker.

Didn't he get one in week 2?? I could have swore he got one against the super chickens.

That one where he tackled Seneca behind the line of scrimmage should've been ruled as a sack, but for some reason, they ruled it a QB run. Kinda back luck for Lawson.

If you look at the box score for that game, Wallace had 4 rush attempts for 1 yard. No way he rushed 4 times. BS

are our own score keepers against lawson or something???

he was behind the line of scrimmage, that was no QB run.................. c'mon man.

Heck no! Ppl act like he's been all over the field. I'm not hating on the guy but come on, he's done virtually nothing thus far. 6 tackles 0's in everything else including passes defended and this is all with the green light. I have no idea why this guy gets such a free pass by us fans. Time to get Brooks or ANYONE who can pass rush. This is NOT a 4-3...it's a 3-4. He played last week against an 8th string tackle and got pwned.

Do you watch football and know what you are looking at?

Watch, record and rewatch every game esp. the linebackers. He's average, at best and below average for a 3-4.

I think the key part of his question was

and know what you are looking at?

Manny is never going to be a great pass rusher but in almost every other aspect he has been very good. He dominates TE's against the run consistently pushing them a yard or two into the backfield. Hes been great in pursuit on runs from the backside and even in the pass rush department he has done a good job collapsing the pocket. IMO Manny has been a very pleasant surprise.

Probably not against the Viking's superior o-line. Still, he better record an actual sack sometime soon or he might start to lose confidence. Justin, Ray, and Parys have been doing their part thus far, so hopefully the Lawson can provide us with another pass-rushing option.

Just to get it straight, the Vikings' O-Line is SUPERIOR at run blocking, NOT pass blocking. If Lions can bring the heat, we will give Farve lots of problems.
