Anyone know how serious his sprain is?
"Gore sprained his right ankle in the second half of Sunday's game against the Seahawks and is questionable to return, Matt Maiocco of the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat reports.
On the plus side, Gore had been going off, with 16 carries for 207 yards and two TDs to go along with five catches for 39 yards before the injury. Backup RB Glen Coffee would be the beneficiary if Gore is forced to miss any time."

yea, i hope it's not bad, but it wasn't a good sign he didn't even sniff the field again (from what i hear, i haven't seen the game yet).
Next weeks game is going to be tough.

Why does he always sprain his ankles. It seems every year it happens to him.

I know he will go next week but I just hope he's real close to 100%. We can't run like we have been with a banged up Gore and Coffee.

Once an ankle is sprained, the ligament stretches. With a stretched ligament, its really easy to resprain your ankle.

"Glen Coffee left Sunday's game in the second half with a hip pointer.
We didn't see the injury happen, but the 49ers are now down two tailbacks. The 2009 preseason rushing leader is "questionable" to return to the field"
