Gotta have time to pump fake. Im not worried about Hill's decision making ability; I am worried that our o-line will do a pisspoor job of pass protection....

Because you can't just liberally use the pump-fake. It has to be done in the pocket (mostly) and there has to be protection.

Let's work on regular passing first before we move to advance moves like pump fakes.

The title of this post sounds like an 80's rock group.

He is going to have to pumpfake at least part
of the game against Seattle.

i think i saw Hill attempt a pump fake in the ARI game.
...and i gotta say, it was one of the lamest pump fakes i've ever seen. it looked more like a twitch in his arm.
DBs probably don't even notice it.

Pump fakes are nice, but I think not staring down your WRs is even more important, which Hill sometimes does. Hey, it's only the first week. We still have a lot of room for improvement.

One of MANY signs that he's indecisive.

I think if Hill Pump Faked his arm would fall off.

Had he pumpfaked today in the first half there would be no need for him to be in there in the second half. Shaun needs to use it. Good win today though.

I strongly believe that if Alex Smith uses the pumpfake he will have a decent game against the Colts.

Pump-fake requires a lot of chemistry and understanding of the defense. Big Ben knows that if he pump fakes to the receiver on the left that the receiver on the right will automatically go deep or come short or whatever they have confirmed with one another during meetings.
We're just trying to complete the ball at this point. Alex Smith is FAR from moving the defense around on a consistent basis. He did do it once last week.
