They should have started lowering the offer when he started missing training camp.

In the words of a great 49er fan...
" Crabtree will sign with the 49ers and will score many Touchdowns for us"

I'm still positive the 49ers and Michael Crabtree will get a deal done soon! I think its going to happen, its only a matter of time.
Why?
Because he's a homer.

The insinuation that Crabtree was cheering for the Cardinals is just another pathetic attempt at a character assassination.
It is simply not fair, and not right, even if you think he is wrong on the contract negotiation.
this is a first. I agree with the dude(MadDog)
Well, this is not a first.... I dis-agreee with you! (valrod33)

Do you think they sent their new offer letter with a birthday card? Or did they just write the new offer on the card to save paper? lol

i think it's definitely over now. if the 49ers are lowering their offer then that tells me they dont really want him on their team anyway.
good luck crabs, hope your not throwing your career away before it ever started

Why do they have to be lowering their number? All I heard was they could be modifying the deal. They could be adding an additional year to make up for the lost of this season. I'm trying to look at things from a half full approach.

After they won on the road against the NFC champs they certainly wouldn't be increasing their offer.

let me guess, you want the same amount of presents Crabtree got even though your birthday is a day later?
