For all you people hating on Alex Smith:

Smith had more yards in ONE half than Hill has had in 4 complete FULL games this season.

206 yards. Translate that to a full game.

Smith threw 2 less TDs in ONE game than Hill has ALL year.

Hate all you want. You can ride the bench with your boy Hill.

and that Battle fumble.....Sing deserves some of the blame for cutting Rossum

Rossum looked lost back there. You don't want Rossum. You want someone who played as good as he did - back when. What you really want is Deion on the returns.

But I'm happy with Walker.
Very proud of the 49ers today. The outcome was disappointing but at least I know we have a qb in Alex smith
annnnnnnnnnnnd

server crash lol
The 49ers needed to use a TO after the long pass to Bruce.

I hate the spike. It wastes a play and you could run a play in the same time.

Shaun Hill doeant have the scrambling skill needed for this type of O-line (which is crappy) and SMith is the future../.mark my words again!!!!
Cut Battle.
Bench Hill.
Bench Rachal.
Fine Clements, for FALSE advertising (lockdown? hah!)
Fine anybody who got a penalty.
Fine the O-line for an atrocious 1st-half performance.

Props to Vernon for a huge three TD performance.
Props to Smith for a great job off the bench.
Props to Crabtree for looking like a vet out there.
Props to Robinson for a great job on kick returns.

Did I miss anyone?

That first half killed us.

There's the Alex 'interception' Smith we knew.

But to be fair - he did look good, otherwise. And it was a must-convert 4th and 10.

But I like the way he looked out there.

It's on 4th-down. He has to get rid of the ball no matter what.

He had good protection that play, should've waited longer.

Idc, he played a great game up to that, we are 3-3.

And after the Giants beat the Tards, we will still be tied for first in our division and 3-0 in our division..................

Morgan should start over Bruce. Spurlock should be doing punt returns.

Hey can't blame him fo that,

Lets see... Delay of game then Alex overthrew which = a pick. So, yes I can blame him for that...

Wow. Just wow.

Are you saying that didn't just happen? Get real dude...

I'm glad Alex showed up and played well, he made the game interesting. But, to call it a good game is crap, the Niners spent the first half looking like complete s**t. The Defense couldn't come up big when they needed to and gave up a bunch of big plays, and a 95 yard drive for a field goal. I'm glad they didn't get blown out but, at this point it doesn't matter, THEY STILL LOST. Clock management is garbage, offensive line is garbage, and Raye will you just retire already!!?!?!

Yeah the OL is garbage, the defense sucked, and we lost. But our QB threw for 3 TDs in a half, nearly brought us back from 21 points, our shiny new reciever looked like a beast, and we can throw the ball down field. If we can open things up with AS at QB that might make everyone's job easier.

battle's fumble really hurt us, houston scored right after

hopefully we can upset the colts next week

if the raiders can win a game why not

i highly doubt it though, but that's why you play the game

Alex looked awesome out there. Drove the team down for three TDs and was on his way to setup the field goal to tie things up. But, made a couple mistakes. Eh, it happens. Even Brady and Manning f*ck up sometimes.

Encouraging to see Davis doing well, and Crabtree looking good.

The lack of pass rush and porous O-line is still a large concern, but still was an encouraging loss, if there is such a thing.
