I would hate for our offense have to learn a whole new system, but Sing has proven to be liability on game day.

He could stick, there are a lot of offensive coaching positions QB coach Quality Assurance to name a few the jobs all lead up to OC

Okay, but it's not like Johnson just came off the streets considering his coaching background in Baltimore and Atlanta. The new HC may know him personally or know someone who would vouch for Johnson. And the OC position would probably be the lowest risk position for an offensive minded HC who calls his own plays because the HC is the de facto OC. I think it's plausible.
