Does anybody believe that our pass rush is any better?

To be honest with you.... I think the result of those intereceptions was more due to bad Denver Q.B. throws than our DB's making plays on the ball.
Yes but don't most picks come from ill advised QB throws? Without those pics the score final score would have been very different. Plus I am trying to point out some positives from last nights game rather than just piss and moan over the negative aspects.

That is what disturbed me the most. In a straight up test of power and/or skill our D-line and pass rushers got their asses handed to them.
Denver was the team doing the "mouth punching" last night.

Why? Willis is rarely used in pass rush so how would he help in that aspect? And Haralson did play last night - non-factor.

Yeah why are people saying Haralson didn't play? I saw #98 out there.

i know. but you can't really say not having your best player doesn't effect the overall play of your defense. plus him in there forces more passing situations and more opportunities for sacks.

If we were a true 3-4 defense and used him properly, I would agree with you b/c offenses would have to account for the fact that he COULD blitz but everyone in the league knows he's only used one way - free to flow to the ball-carrier. Therefore, IMHO, he has zero impact on our pass rushers. I see where you were going with it though.

Well in a vanilla scheme 5 o-lineman verses 3 d-lineman will win almost every time. The most important part of the 3-4 is the deception and hiding of blitzes, which we didnt do last night. Plus Denvers O line is highly rated

There was no evidence of it improving last night.
