It was just redone. Niners play on it in 2 weeks.

We'll see what the watering, mowing, and miracle grow can do in that time.

Yeah, because it's going to take a miracle to grow.

Shoulda put in field turf, this is gonna be a weekly problem all year

You're trying too hard now, DD.

huh?

Field turf talk is bush league, man. Low hanging fruit for the trollers to talk about. No respectable California team should be playing on field turf.

which is why i said just for this year

Which wouldn't have been the worst idea in the world...yes upfront it costs more than sod, but they're already on what, the third iteration of sod? Most likely they've already surpassed what FieldTurf would have cost with the 2nd and 3rd replacements, not to mention additional costs if they have to replace the sod again later this season. I still think the soccer game is a bad idea, I know there's a lot of $$ involved there but I'd be looking at it more long-term and just be extra cautious.
Hey, the live feed is back up if anyone is interested in seeing the stadium in all its glory....again.

The grass doesn't look as vibrant as the Bandera type.

#49ers announce tomorrow's Mexico-Chile soccer game @LevisStadium sold out, as expected. Should be Levi's biggest crowd yet (70,000ish)
