maybe the niners can share with the giants since the Giants are being bullied out of ATT
I wonder if it would be possible for the Sharks to host an outdoor hockey game there once a year. I am not a hockey fan really but that would be pretty cool.

Outdoor game vs the Kings or Ducks would be awesome!

They only play those games where it's cold enough to keep the ice frozen. The sunny Bay Area does not fit the bill. lol
Anyone buying the old candlestick seats? I am definitely considering it.

San Diego continues to be negative and overreact even though he has been proven wrong a million times. He just never learns.

As for sharing a staidum I really don't want to share. I don't think professional teams should have to share a stadium. Wouldn't sharing with the Giants or A's mean we have to have dirt on the field again?

Edit: Guess if they can have one in LA they can have one in Santa Clara. They will host plenty of events to get money back to pay for the stadium. Found this: "The stadium is functionally designed to create a building that can be used for a wide range of events including professional and college football, soccer, motocross, concerts, and civic events." Super bowls alone will bring in a lot of money and that's on top of 49ers selling out every game plus should be many playoff games. Who knows might have Olympics or World Cup matches. Whatever hey can host they will imo because they have a lot to pay back.

If they can have the outdoor ice skating rink in the city every year they must be able to do it for one night of hockey. Wouldn't look right with everyone in the stands wearing no winter gear and with no snow though lol.

I guess we are wrong. That's crazy. If they can have one in LA they certainly can have one in Santa Clara.

Actually, take the statement literally, and he was technically right.

- There was no stadium at the time.
- The 49ers have since played in Candlestick for years.

Knowing SD he probably meant we will be playing in Candlestick for 50 more years.
