How about going green and add some design factor into this? We can be the 1st NFL team to have solar panels to power up the lights. Here's Solar Stadium in Taiwan.

Someone email these ideas to Jed for chrissakes!

The stadium already had solar panels and a green roof incorporated into the design. A first in both cases I believe.

I meant for our stadium...sorry.

So do WE Genius. Look at the pic of the Santa Clara stadium again. Above the Suite complex, you will see solar panels.

LOL.
Hopefully this solves the concerns of some fans that the new stadium is not "distinctive" enough.

That's what I call distinctive.

why the green roof again? I understand the solar panels but not the grass on the roof

It cools the roof, therefore requiring less energy to cool the building. As well as adding a little nature in the concrete jungle.

Correct. I am in the Navy and when we ported in Singapore they already do that. Not only does is reduce there energy costs by 15-20 percent they grow produce instead of grass so they kill 2 birds with one stone. Its a brillant idea IMO.
