Doubt it, hard to tailgate that way.

Not everyone likes to Tailgate. Anyone who wants to do so can park. Anyone who doesn't will be looking for public transit to get out of exorbitant parking rates. For me personally I live about a mile from a light rail station. I can walk to it. I can get to and from the game without ever getting in a car.

What's the rush? The lightrail is fast enough. Besides if you prefer to drive the parking situation will still be a lot better than a large majority of other NFL stadiums.

This...not to mention ALOT more ways to get out if the stadium if you ARE in a car.

I was there for about 45 minutes for the tour and didn't hear any, but I may have just been in awe of where I was. I'm pretty sure there will be some overhead traffic though

just read about it. I was hoping for Samsung but Sony is cool too. Based on the interviews I've watched on Fortune it sounds like they are seriously considering building in monitors or tablets into the seats somehow so its surprising to see Sony get the nod over Samsung. They keep talking about giving the customer a chance "rewatch a play from any angle right from their seat" i.e. a personal TV or tablet to view media content, or it could be a very terrible way of phrasing "we're going to have a ton of cameras and replay it on the jumbo screens".

The "rather then Hardware we want Software driven and open source stadium" comment from York in one of the interviews really intrigues me as well. Is York just spouting off young "hipster" techie language or does he actually know what he is saying because it would be dope if they had a lot of hardware and software built into the game day experience.

When he says software over hardware he means that people will use their own personal devices at their seats to re-watch things. They will provide the wireless and content but you have to bring your own phone/tablet/etc. They aren't going to put devices at each seat.

As I last read on the topic, the seats will NOT have screen attached, but will have clips or a holder to hold something should you bring it yourself. The "watch all angles" thing was intended to be an app of some sort that would run on your own device if you brought it into the stadium.
