i hate watching 9er games at bars. Especially when they lose. If I could afford it, I'd get sunday ticket. Till then, HomerTV it is.

Raiders fans are pathetic here they still think Bo Jackson is still playing. It's mostly Chargers games we get in SoCal now which I'm glad, anything but Raiders Games.

Maybe it's different cuz I'm all the way out here in NJ, but I hate the fact that I can't get volume on the games when I watch em at the bar. I go every week bc I need to watch every game and I don't have Directv, but I'm thinking of getting it for next season cuz no volume blooooowwwwwssss. the bar's fun but not hearing anything isn't.

Directv has an exclusive deal with the NFL for Sunday Ticket. People trying to sell you cable or dish network will claim otherwise but they are lying.

Since 2002 the last time we made the playoffs cbs nor Fox shows love to our niners at best like ol boy said maybe 1 or 2 games per season.......
Let's see... 300 by 16 regular season games is 18.75. Now seeing that i drop close to double that everytime i visit a sports bar, there's now way my wife won't see the feasibility of this investment.
Right on bro - my wife said the same thing. I was spending $50 or so every time I took my boys to the sports bar/grill with me to watch games. I just got DirecTV installed a few weeks ago, just got it hooked up to the internet, so now I'm in business!

Fox 11 has a huge love affair with the NFC East so pretty much without fail you'll see a game that has an NFC East team.
So your only hope is that the 9ers play an NFC East team to see a 49er game in SoCal
CBS is AFC so it's pretty much the Raider and Chargers channel but once in a blue moon you'll get to see the 49ers play.

I remember first game of the season a couple years back. when we opened up against the Bears....I think it was the DE Era just starting. We spanked them that game, but I was in LA and we found a casino that we went to and watched the game.

I grew up in the bay area 25 years Move to so-cal for 20 years.
done the bar thing and I had to wipe the floor with a few would be footbal fans.
I can't stand pretenders.
(there are know real football fans in so-cal. Just take my word for it, or your in for a big disapointment)
