I want this guy brought in as part of the defensive staff. I can't believe Seattle let this guy go to hire Ken Norton. This guy can flat out coach linebackers and the secondary.

Really? I don't remember him.
Wonder why Seattle let him go?

Nah he was here during the early Nolan days.
I'd love to see him brought in as a CB coach if nobody else makes him a DC. He can teach Spoon the dark arts of grabbing and interfering with receivers in a way that you never get called for. Get Jed to pay up, make Hafley the safeties coach and its all good.

Hafley can be his assistant then while Richard teaches the CB's the art of Grab-Fu.

The reason:
More change coming for the #Seahawks: DC Kris Richard would be allowed out of his contract for another opportunity, sources say. He's had a long relationship with Pete Carroll, who believes Richard would benefit from experiencing something new. Could have OC & DC openings.

Also:
There was also talk of Carroll not liking some of the changes Richard made to his defensive system. Some including more blitzing, particularly by Wagner and nickel back Justin Coleman, and more man-to-man rather than zone coverage than in previous seasons.
