This Super Bowl loss is only going to reignite this situation especially if Patricia and McDaniels leave. Gronk also hasn't committed to next season, and the Butler situation is already being questioned. The pats have more questions going forward then ever so we'll be hearing nonstop Patriots this offseason

Did anyone see the NFL network interview with Kraft and his son?
There's no conflict in the building - there's "tension" which is supposedly a good thing.
Kraft calls Brady his 5th son.
They said Brady gets to choose when he retires.
When asked if Brady and Belichick would both be back next season Kraft said something along the lines of "I can't confirm that, we'll need to wait and see."

I dont care how good they think he is, players dont choose when they will retire unless they choose to go early. I think they loss might fire both Brady and Belichick to try again next year, but I dont think the team will be any better next year, and probably the inevitable decline has now set in. Future NE fans are likely to blame Kraft for letting Brady have too much control instead of moving on to his replacement Garoppolo as Bill Walsh would have done.
Will Belichick be back? Probably the biggest question of the offseason. I think letting Garoppolo go was a statement about winning today rather than long term. Belichick must have been gutted to lose this one. Had he won he may have announced his retirement immediately afterwards.

I just want to see a football game not a storyline. With some defense.
If we had one more vaunted new england comeback i was going to hurl.

Does patricia ever use that pencil for anything?

Patricia dude is gonna fail with the Lions.
If Luck is Healthy McDaniels will be just fine for the Colts. He is a really good play caller.

I would really like to know if it were BBs team and he made the player decisions, would BB have still kept Brady over JG? My guess is not. I think. BB really wanted JG for next yr or perhaps the following...an uninterrupted string of continuous winning. Now? Not so likely, and the age thing has settled in, reverse progress on the horizon.

Source: Benching Butler not a discipline issue. Belichick made the call a few hours before game. Many coaches and players were shocked. Some players and coaches "furious" with Belichick, this is a move that divided the locker room.

I'm tired of the patriots and their damn goofy ass logo. Some AFC team need to step up and take the crown. It shouldn't be this difficult.
