Agree, but he's one of the nfl's poster boys , so it wont happen. It should cost him endorsements too, but it wont.

It's alright. He's gunna get put on IR in two weeks anyway. Gronkowski got weak knees and bills are going to be diving all over that Christmas Eve. Karma will come back around.

As odd as it sounds, he having a 'day off' will rest him up. The Pats wont miss him too much against the Dolphins.

Yeah it only takes one guy coming across the middle going low with the helmet putting it though his kneecap. It probably won't even get flagged and you can bet they aren't going to forget about it.

There's been worse than that and it's always a game. B* move but people get frustrated and it happens.

I'm disappointed the league treated this like any other illegal hit during a play, or like the Talib/Crabtree scuffle where both guys faced up and threw punches. This incident stands on its own in terms of coming after the whistle and a cheap shot on an unsuspecting player. It's along the lines of Suh kicking people or Burfict twisting ankles, but taken to a whole different level where someone actually got knocked out. Should've at least suspended Gronk for the rest of the regular season.

Talib and Crab appeal a 2 game suspension down to 1 so they only suspend Gronk for 1? Where is the logic that this isn't equal or worse than the actions of Crab and Talib?
Also this looks even more ridiculous now they they suspended Schuster and Iloka 1 game a piece for during the run of play penalties. GG NFL and your lack of consistency and ability to properly discipline.

I'm so tired of these thugs getting into fights, they should just assign points for all these fight/unnecessary hits/penalties, and if the team accumulated x amount of points, then the team starts to lose draft picks....that'll force teams to start training their players not to do stupid stuff on the field!

yes they do,but Gronk is beginning to act like his onetime fellow TE teammate
Damn, this fool is prolly possessed by AH evil spirit... the unclean spirit might have crept up Gronk's ass one night and tapped it
The "whole hood" just might look to cripple him no matter what @ Buffalo Bills...

This. That was no helmet-to-helmet hit, or illegal hit during a play. This was a hit after the play was over, and with intent to injure a downed player. Christ sakes, Celek is getting fined 18k for a horse collar tackle, this should be 100 Times that as it is criminal.
