The only thing in this world none of us can get back is TIME.
Run the ball, milk the clock and kick the FG.

Combination of poor game managing skills, poor execution, drop game changing int by Alford, and oh yea, the missed def facemask on the holding penalty that would of offset.
Too little to late, game is over, time to move on.

I have no issues with the playcalling. Can't blame Kyle for Freeman not picking up the black and getting Ryan sacked. Can't blame Kyle for the Holding penalty pushing them out of FG range.
Can't make everyone happy. There's some people that preffer to be conservative when they hand the lead, there's some that want to go for the kill.
I prefer my coach to keep his for on the gas.

Patriots time of possession 40 minutes, Falcons 23 minutes. Tom Brady 466 yards, Matt Ryan 260 yards. Who do you think would win?? defense was tired, when the pats won the coin flip I though the pats would just run Blount down there throat on a tired defense.

Matt Ryan turning the ball over first before he took that huge sack.
And I am a fan of Matt Ryan too. This game showed mentally he wasn't ready to handle the Super Bowl.
Then, followed by the D since they couldn't make a stop to save their lives.
70% Matt Ryan and 30% on the D.

The Atlanta offense needed a few more possessions. The D played well enough but hats off to the Belicheats they took it away.

Falcons played aggressively at the end and it backfired.

The game began to change on the 1st half drive when 3 defensive penalties kept the drive alive. It only resulted in a field goal but it increased the number of reps the defense was on the field. As the game progressed, Quinn's decision to stay with the same defensive front resulted in them getting worn down and unable to pressure Brady. That is the problem with a 4-3. If you don't have a lot of depth, your main guys get worn out and it is game over.
My vote is Quinn's stubborness to change up the defense was the main culprit. Should have been changing coverages and bringing more pressure. He thought he had Richard Sherman & Company back there but he didn't.

they run it a couple times, kick the fg, they win.

I just feel the Falcons as a whole collapsed. It was the perfect storm... It kinda confirmed that scoring and ball control have its place.
The Falcons score quickly and didn't have much of a ball control game once they were ahead by so much. After awhile, the Patriots climbed back in and the Falcons defense just couldn't play with the same intensity as the beginning of the game.
Could Kyle have been more conservative? Maybe. He'll look at it later and learn from it. I'd rather he has experience at the biggest stage against one of the greatest defensive masters in NFL history... learn from it... BEFORE he becomes our head coach. Hopefully, he'll be better off for it.

So by "unanswered" you're saying the Falcons didn't score a single point in that span? hmmm sounds like the OC yeah.
Don't get me wrong, I love Kyle but if they run the ball or even kneel it 3 times after the big Julio catch. they win the game with an easy FG. You got to know NE would bring pressure to get them out of FG range there. Because a FG clinches it.

Hey remember the NFC championship game 4 years ago? Yeah, this Super Bowl was a way worse choke job by ATL than that game was.

Falcons third down execution killed them in this game. 1 conversion all game is not going to get it done. A very overlooked aspect of this game IMO. The Falcons defense was gassed in the 4th quarter.
