Nothing against the guy but if you're starting fresh and wants to build a culture i would want the HC to be someone that's been there before ( Championship )
Mike Nolan has been there before.
Are we Rollin' again???
FYI Mike Nolan was at Washington when Ravens won in 2000.

Same here...you're not rebuilding a franchise with a 3rd yr OC that's 30 yrs old Come the f**k on Jed! you've been trying to get McDainels for years and now it's right there, for once do the right thing.

Well since Wolf is (I guess) in the lead for the GM job, could he look to hire someone with a WCO background in McVay? Even McVay isn't my first choice or second, I could see a combination of Wolf and McVay. But I rather have the combo of Riddick + McDaniels + Garappolo instead. Wolf and Shanahan I feel would go Mitch Trubisky IMO, but I want Garappolo more all of a sudden change of heart.

Miami seems to be doing okay with a 38 year old 3 yr OC...

See I still see some WCO concepts from NE, they are constantly playing their RBs as WRs and they have the quick timing routes and slants...sitting up the run by passing. The thing I love is how the game plan if they can play smash mouth football they will do it if small quick WRs is the other teams weakness (Seattle) they will expose it. I just really hope they don't jump the gun with McVay because they can hire him now instead of waiting for the guy that gonna probably win another SB lol.

Gase has been coaching in the NFL since 2007 and learned under multiple head coaches McVay has not
Plus he's 8 yrs older that's not even relatable you're stretching it hard man lol

I'm good with McVay.
Sounds like an up and comer.
Beggers can't be choosers anyway.

How do you know he can? If you were a respected coordinator would you want to work under a 30 yr old first time HC on a 2-14 team??
