Best of luck Chip. Work on those 2nd half adjustments and you'll be back in the NFL

Who else noticed that the Niners had big success throwing to Draughn out of the backfield earlier in the game today.....then stopped throw to him? Instead, they continued to run up the middle vs a brick wall...

I have to agree. I don't like his firing, but I understand it. He was up sh*t creek with no paddle as soon as Baalke opted to keep $50 million in cap space rather than giving Kelly any options. But, you can't expect a new GM, with any credibility, to come in and not have a clean slate. Let's just hope York and Marathe don't f*** this up. This is the scary part, and we're going head on with 5 other franchises.
All this. Kelly conducted himself well. Truly a business decision here, nothing personal. Can't burden a new GM with a dead man walking HC.

Chip was on a hiding to nothing with the underdone roster and injuries that pretty much didn't let up right from the get go. Obviously there are some areas where he could've done different but imo he did have one hand tied by the circumstances.
Thanks for doing what you could Chip. I would've liked to have seen what he could do with another season or two and it seems so did the players.
All the best for the future.
