Is the NFL dying?

They're certainly finding ways of trimming their condensed game replays on Gamepass. Early in the year they'd run just above 40 minutes but in the last couple weeks, they've been around 35. This week the Steelers-Colts game was under 29 minutes and the other two Thanksgiving games were under 32 minutes each.

IMO, the NFL needs to the do following:
Less commercial breaks. Not likely, but one can wish.
Make EVERY play reviewable and give coaches three challenges.
Bring back defense. Right now, defense is more of a formality than something that's actually part of the game.
Stop treating the players like robots. If guys want to celebrate and it doesn't pose a risk to their safety LET THEM. I remember looking forward to seeing what ridiculousness TO would pull after scoring a TD. Now, doing anything more than handing the ball to the ref is a flag.
Get off DirecTV's nuts and create a streaming only subscription package. Speaking to the numbers, younger people do not like having to stay glued to their couch to watch their favorite programs. Get with the times and make it easy for people to watch from whatever device they want, wherever they are.
Commentary: get some young blood in there to call the games. Don't know about anyone else, but I'm tired of hearing stuffy, middle-aged men salivate over the same handful of players (looking at you, Tom Brady) ad nauseam.
I mostly agree. But coaches should get unlimited challenges. But only 2 or 3 wrong ones. If the ref got the call wrong, then it needs to be fixed. not weighed against the chance of a future bad call being worse for you.
And yes let them celebrate. You can keep the taunting stuff as flags. But let brown twerk if he feels like it, let someone make a snow angel.

Cowboys vs. Redskins was also most watched regular season FOX game ever.
As much as we all despise them, maybe the NFL should just make sure the Cowboys are good, lol.

That's why they didn't call that penalty on them last night, when they hit Bradford in the helmet? Vice Versa they would have called it to make sure the Cowboys won last night.
This is why the NFL is dying, they are manufacturing dynasty's utilizing the refs. See the tuck rule game that started the Pats dynasty.

Way too many commercials (would be nice to hear a lot more insight from the analysts during the game instead of commercials every 5 plays)
Officials should be full time
Too many penalties - I think flags should only be called on very blatant fouls. Too many PI calls, too many Holding calls, too many celebration calls. Every time there is a big play I just expect a flag to call it back.

I don't think the NFL is dying yet... but damn it seems to be trying hard sometimes.

This just makes no sense whatsoever. It's not even certain that LA can support one team, let alone two that nobody really gives a crap about. Can't believe they want to send the Raiders with their massive LA fanbase to Las Vegas and the Chargers to LA to fight it out with the Rams to see who the fans hate the least.
Dumbass greedy billionaires who don't give a f**k strike again.
