Cutler looked great yesterday, I would take him on this team in a heart beat if he took a pay cut

He is better in regards to QB play and field awareness. But he is just as bad or worse of a head case as Kaepernick.

Slightly better, but no where near to the standard you would want as a franchise QB. If we were to draft a QB high and he turned out to be Jay Cutler I would be bitterly disappointed.
Kaepernick v Cutler is like picking which of two horrible afflictions you would rather have, when really the answer is neither.

I really have no idea why this guy is so unpopular..
he's a legitimate QB for sure.. is it his attitude?
tho he's yet to win the BIG ONE every where he's gone, but at the same time, he's been carrying a team all by himself where ever he's been..
VANDERBILT - daymmm.... if you can carry this UNIVERSITY by yourself, you must be an awesome QB
DENVER
CHICAGO
In fact, the JETS or the BILLS would be a sure playoff team if Cutler plays for them..

He probably acts like an A...Hole when he has low blood sugar and not getting his way! Im not making fun of his diabetic situation. I seen my boy have episodes and I can tell his sugar is out of whack!

I be Ok with Cutler for 2 years...
Pick up Jay as a fill in QB for couple years
Draft Myles Garrett with number 1 pick,
Sign Hopkins or Jeffrey as a 1WR... yes I believe Hopkins is leaving Houston no way he wants his career to go like Andre Johnson did and play with a guy like Brock
Fill the LB spots in the draft as well as NT.. or possibly pick up K.Short in the FA. Take a shot in the dark attempt an sign Josh Gordan.
2018 draft we prolly be picking around 10-15 so thats a spot to pick possibly pick the best WR in the draft and pretty much every team in league has a QB by now or 1 they are developing besides teams like Jets, Bills, & Dolphins all of which who will still probably be better teams than us due to division toughness so we can draft our QB of the future then. Then complete the teams holes

Agree with a fair bit of this but bearing in mind the development time for most qb's I don't think we can keep putting it off. You have us taking a receiver in 2018 with our first pick so we don't get to draft a QB high until 2019! That's just crazy. I don't mind picking up Cutler or any other stop gap but I don't want them to be starting until 2021. Happy to pick up Garrett but if that can be done we surely then need to trade back up out of the 2nd to pick up a QB.

The problem is, CUTLER will not fit well with CHIP KELLY and his offense... I'm for the idea of Cutler (even back 2 years ago), draft either Garrett or Barnett (Tennessee), and if we can land FALK in the 2nd round, yes, that's what I think of this kid right now.. a 2nd rounder.. then we can have him sit behind Cutler..
but again, under which coach..

Someone on NFLN described Cutler as the "ultimate tease." One game he looks like HOF and the next like a bum. Amazing arm. Brilliant guy. Just no consistency.
He is in a situation now in Chicago with very low expectations/pressure, and he may thrive in that. In the meantime, I expect Chicago to win a few games going forward than they would without him.
