Eli having 2 Lombardi trophies, over the Brady/Belichik Patriots no less, is arguably the biggest fluke of all-time.

Hot and cold, but once they hit the post-season they are just a dangerous team to play...

Pretty much. They got hot at the right time twice. Eli has soooo many bad performances, it's surprising a player like him can string together a run like that. Same thing with Flacco in 2012. They got the job done and deserve credit for that. But there are several QBs in this era who are vastly superior to Eli yet don't have 2 SB rings.

Philip Rivers
Aaron Rodgers
Drew Breesus
Matthew Ryan
Tony Romo
Can we concur on this list?

Which begs the question how vastly superior are you if you never got it done in crunch time? It's an interesting debate. Matt Ryan for example s**ts the bed every time in the playoffs.

IF the Ants don't want Eli anymore, I would love to offer them a two #2s that would turn to a 1st if he takes us to the Super Bowl..

Agreed. The rings arguement will get him in the HoF though. Rings are the reason Dan Marino never gets brought up as one of the greatest QBs of all time.

Eli still has about 4 years.. for two 2nd round pick, I don't know why English would not want him.. well, he still has hope on Kaep that's why..

No I have relatively little hope that either Kaepernick or Ponder can turn round the qb-ing this year. In order to sustain your argument or give any point to this thread, though, you have to produce some evidence that the Giants are interested in trading their starting qb.
