What do you guys think? He's the 4th or 5th option (3rd WR) right now for Tampa Bay and is on the last year of his contract. Not sure what it'd take and how much of his salary we'd have to take on..
Even at 33, he's so much more talented than Quinton Patton and at 6'5, 230 - would be a much bigger target for Blain / Kap.

It would be interesting to see what anybody would for a 33 yr old rental.
Tempting but I don't know if I would pull the trigger on a deal for him.

Baalke won't do it. He's too healthy.

Why would we trade for any veterans? We aren't going to make the playoffs. At best, we give up a late pick and Vincent Jackson does nothing for us. At worst, we give up a late pick and win an extra game or two which causes us to drop in the draft, so not only did we give up a late pick, but we also hurt our draft position in every round and possibly gave up a chance at a franchise QB (if Watson or Kizer are franchise QB's).

Trades are few and far between in the NFL. Even more rare midseason. Even way more rare for an aging WR.

No thanks. Only players we need to be trading for are players who will be here long term. What would be the point in trading for a 33 year old WR? We aren't a SB contender so he definitely won't get us over the hump so don't waste any draft picks on him.

brady would make our WRs look like all stars. The WRs are not the problem.

Brady and every new england qb since 2001 has had a separate tiny speaker in their ear on an un-monitored frequency telling them to slide up, out, etc when pressured and who is open and when to throw.

This. Bring in all the aging, over the hill WRs you like, it wont make the QBs on this team suck any less.
