So the 9ers don't have to give up a draft pick and also get Sherman for what will likely be less in salary than Talib is getting? Yeah, I'm very okay with that. We should be over the moon Talib nixed that trade.

No hate for his decision. Makes sense. Guy has 1-2 good years left. He wants certainty. He knows for a fact he can contend for a title with NE. And he knows for a fact he can be himself with Wade on a playoff caliber team.

Makes sense to me. Can't take these things personally.

Good post. Sounds like from Lynch's perspective, Talib didn't know he was being traded until it happened. Doh.

Lynch did it the right way. Agree with the franchise to a trade. Discuss with player before finalizing. Talib did the right thing for himself. Can't hate that.
