Why do so many players suffer non- contact injuries during training camp?

It seems like for the majority of players who suffer non-contact injuries, it happens during training camp...... You don't hear it as often during the season. Why do you guys think that is???????
Stretching before practice and taking sharp angles, jumping and coming down awkwardly, or in Dante Fowlers case planting his leg in a bullrush move
This should be in NFL

My guess: gear
Bad luck?
Lack of proper stretching?
Limited offseason training regimen?

Some of those players might be going from 0 to 100 too quickly. Maybe they aren't in top shape or maybe they forget to cool down and stretch.

Going full blast when the body isn't ready.
It's because almost everyone in the NFL uses a lot of steroids and have gone beyond their natural limits.

Sad but true.
Seems to be more so when everyone is competing for a roster position so they push beyond just to impress..

Also this is an explosive sport and body endurance is not in the plan.

The player unions have restricted the amount of time players can train thus creating weaker conditioned and lazier players that are then left to find short cuts like steroids.

Players are mostly short term ( avg 3years in NFL ) so long term player protection programs?

Players are mostly expendable with not that many with large garauteed $$ so why would franchise owners really care. The concussion thing is a case in point.
the rosters right now are almost twice the size of the regular season. Also during the year there's a lot more guys barely practicing and nursing bumps and bruises. You see a lot of non contact injuries during the games.

Players are always auditioning for their next job/contract.
