Trading anything for a non-elite RB on the wrong side of 30 is asinine for a team that's many players away from being a super bowl contender. We already have Hyde (bell cow when healthy), Mike Davis (4th rd pick from last year that hasn't gotten a shot), Kelvin Taylor (6th round pick from this year that's played zero snaps), and Draugn/Harris who both looked like above average backups in their limited snaps.
All across the board we're using this year to see what we have in our young players that didn't get their snaps under Harbaugh/Tomsula, and RB is the most de-valued offensive position in football, arguably one of our deepest, and should be no different.
If you're going to have a plan you need to stick to it and we already committed to this by sitting on our hands in free agency with the 3rd highest cap space. The only players I'd trade a late round pick for at this point would be a young low risk/high reward player that if successful would still be in their prime when we're out of rebuild (ex. DeAnthony Thomas, Josh Gordon, Dion Jordan, Luke Joekel)
