Cheaper and younger (25) than Kap. No history of bad blood with our front office. He might be interested in the prospect of playing in Chip's offense. Clearly has talent. If his body and mind are salvageable he could be a worthwhile bargain-basement reclamation project that at least provides some competition during camp.

How is a top overall cheaper than a second round Kaep?
He also may be younger,but those knees are about 36 right now.

I think Kelly cant make him a better player but he seems too injury prone.

the guy just sat a season out. he may have finally had the time he needed to recover. i wouldnt mind him in a competition. ( gabbert, rg3, and a drafted qb)
