It's completely ignorant and asinine to blame York and Baalke for the Saints not trading Payton to the 49ers.
we could not control what the saints were doing and IF the asking price was a one or a two,, then hell with them
Huh? They interviewed Lynn yesterday and could have made a trade for Payton today if they really had the chance. Rooney Rule didn't prevent anything.

We threw the sink at him too and I got the impression he was just using us for leverage.
Would love to gashed him though!

The rams just extended Fisher, and despite the clear downward trajectory of the rams. It is a apples to apples comparison. Peyton will be on the move this year, the saints asked for a 1 and didn't get it so they'll take a 2 or a package of mid to late picks.

Sounds like they are cleaning the salary cap and getting ready for rebuild

Would love it if other teams told the Saints to go f**k themselves and forced their hand in firing him.

Hmm...
It's tempting. If we could land a quality DC I could see it. At the same time, he hasn't even been .500 since 2013...

Sean Payton hasn't been able to land a quality DC in years. We'd be making a lateral move.

I guess it is a dumb post if you aspire to be 7-9 max. Saints have been terrible. Theyve had trouble breaking .500 in the last 5 years, and that's with a hall of famer at quarterback. Imagine what would happen with one of the turds we've got? Like Chip, Payton is another guy that can't hire a defensive coordinator. no thanks.

He wasn't the Coach in 2012 (suspension) and led them to a 11-5 record in 2013 and they were 13-3 the year before the suspension. Besides that he and Chip aren't comparable. At least Payton can run an actual NFL offense that can put points on the board.
