Why would he leaves Michigan where he's loved, respected on his authority and full control on player personnel...just for Luck and Gore? Nahh. Specially since he would have to deal with another Jed York (Irsay) and Trent Baalke (Grigson)...

I think he stays at Michigan, but I'm certain Irsay would dump Grigson in a second if Harbaugh made that demand.
Harbaugh will stay at Michigan 2 more years then come back to the NFL.
If Jimmy gets the axe he so desperately deserves on Monday, is there ANY chance of us snagging Gase or Jackson? Gase would probably retain Mangini, and I honestly think his defense would be MUCH better in year 2. Jackson pairs a tough, physical approach with creativity on offense (sounds too good to be true!), but he was kind of a dick to Mark Davis, it's been reported that he regarded and treated him like a lucky sperm who had no business sticking his nose into the inner workings of a team (might hit a little close to home for Jed).

oooooor maybe because Harbaugh played for the colts lol....

But Irsay and Grigson still there so, why bother?
Damn the Eagles are ahead of everyone... they interviewed Duce Staley (former Eagle RB, and current RB Coach)... so now they got the Rooney Rule out of the way. They can quickly interview and throw top cash at the best Coach Available on Monday.
The first brass ring in the looming coaching carousel likely will go to Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase.

Per a league source not connected in any way to Gase, three teams are expected to pursue Gase aggressively: The Eagles, Browns, and Dolphins.

Not sure what they'd do at QB in that scenario. Maybe a trade for Kap is not out of the question yet.

Coaching carousel brings NFL's outdated hiring rule into focus

Already, teams are clamoring to hire their next coaches. But some of the best candidates won't be available to be hired — possibly for more than a month.

The league allows certain interviews of assistants whose teams are in the postseason, but nothing can be made official until the playoff run of a candidate's current team ends. The effort to avoid the creation of an obvious conflict of interest, with an assistant employed by one team already officially named the head coach of another team, sets up an even more awkward situation where the assistant at some level realizes that losing in the postseason could help him fulfill the lifelong dream of becoming an NFL head coach.

It would be better to have full transparency, allowing the hire to be made but no actual work on behalf of the new team to begin until the work with the current team ends — other than to put a staff together.

He'll keep manziel. Tried to get him to go to Oregon.
