Not a huge fan. I have no knowledge of him as a man, but his actions on the field don't make me respect him much. Also, his gameplay is so streaky. All world one minute and then will make a series of mental breakdowns the next. Makes me think players that talk a lot of trash can get in his head.
Think I would pass. Most I would give up is a late 3rd, because you would have to pick up his 5th year and then pay him a huge salary to keep him a second year.

Chiefs are in a bind with the cap. The defense needs a lot of re-tooling but they have no money to buy FAs. Hence, dealing Peters for two other defensive assets would be one way to help the overall quality of the defense.
I have my doubts as to his value with a bunch of young impressionable guys like the 49ers. Much has been written about how Foster needs a mature veteran influence in his life to help him get on the right track. Peters is certainly not that.
