Damn, even Mike Singletary has had a better winning percentage than Fisher over the last 5 years.

A guy that at best would represent a marginal improvement over what the team has now is no real improvement at all.
Bill Belicheck, Pete Carrol were both losing coaches/mediocre before winning so you neve know
Fisher has been doing it for 20+ years now though.

The height of mediocrity... He'd be perfect, cause now we have a coach striving to get to mediocrity.

What's so bad is he would actually bean upgrade.
What's worse is he wouldn't even come here bc the FO are clowns.

He's a lucky dude too. He was on the verge of being fired, then they rally to win the SB and change his image. Besides NY having that dominate pass rush, they've never really been a serious contender. They always seem down and out, then come on strong to salvage their season.
Coughlin has been on the hot seat quite a bit over the years.

Your guys biggest issue is you need a coach who will take control of your roster, and command respect, but Ballke and York won't hire him, because he will threaten their power structure.
As a Hawks fan, I loved to hate Harbaugh, but he was pushed out the door for a yes man. You are in the same position as Dallas, with Jerruh pulling the strings for Jason Garrett, and until that structure gets repaired, the guy you need won't get hired.
And if this was fantasy island, the coach I'd wish for you would be Jimmy Johnson. It would immediately bring you respect, and it would refire our rivalry.

Kind of how Sean Payton took control of the roster in New Orleans? Im perfectly fine with splitting up the roster and personnel decisions.

The job is too big to have a HC/GM. Look at Chip Kelly.

none of your examples went even half as long as Fisher has being mediocre. They all improved within a few years. Fisher has been crap for 20 years.
