Now an elite defensive lineman? Probably more like 3.5 times stronger than the average male. Now, on average, men are twice as strong as women. So in this situation were talking about someone beating up on a victim that's 1/4 of his size, and roughly 7 times weaker. Yeah, hardy is a scumbag.
Simple advice to NFL players. Girlfriend getting on your nerves? Show her the door, and go get yourself a high class escort.
What difference does it make how many times stronger one is when a man can put another man in the hospital, as Kwame Harris did, whereas a woman winds up with merely a few bruises?
What Kwame Harris did was worse than what Greg Hardy did. He beat his boyfriend up so badly he had to go to the hospital. Greg Hardy allegedly gave her a few bruises (that she might have gotten from something else. He was the one who called the police, after all).
People say all the time that they hope a man who says something obnoxious catches a beatdown. That implies that a man is going to find himself in a situation where he pisses off a much bigger, stronger man and isn't able to adequately defend himself, and wind up with injuries far worse than what Hardy's girlfriend ended up with. And he can apparently deserve that because he's a man.
You know and I know - if a man so much as *slaps* a woman, he's considered the lowest scum of the earth. But a man can sucker punch another man and won't get anywhere near the criticism, if he's even criticized at all. Say the man who got punched said something obnoxious to the other man...then people would say the guy who got sucker punched deserved it.
It just goes back to this notion that is is unacceptable for women to have bad things happen to them. If you verbally trash your abusive father, people feel bad for you. If you verbally trash your abusive mother, they tell you that no matter what your mother did, "how dare you disrespect the woman who gave birth to you!"
And the reason we are focused on this right now is the "social justice" obsession that emerged in 2012, thanks to Macklemore and his "Same Love" song propelling an internet feminist takeover with women (and gays) and all issues surrounding them moving to the forefront of every liberal's concern. Suddenly, every domestic violence accusation in sports is treated like a murder charge, while worse crimes like DUI are yawned at. If it involves women or gays, it dominates the sports news.
I mean, remember Warren Moon? Ahman Green? Julian Edelman in 2011? Remember how different the coverage was?
It's a tumblr feminist-derived media obsession. A crusade for feminazis to feel important and rage over every single incident of something bad happening to women (and by extension of stereotypical "femininity" involved, gays).
What is wrong with you?
