Now that's a hilarious excuse. Maybe he would have a point if this was just an outlier performance by Cousins, but it's sadly been the norm. IMO, Cousins is not a starter in this league. In fact, he reminds me a bit of Matt Cassel. He can give you some good quarterback play when everything's going according to plan, but once his team struggles, he tries to force things and starts turning the ball over. Maybe he would play more within himself if he was on a better team, but that's anybody's guess at this point.

The first round of bids to purchase the Washington Commanders from Dan Snyder are due tomorrow. Per @MikeOzanian of Forbes, Snyder has received bids "well north" of $7 billion.
