It's a good read...that sounded like an epic internal battle...Baalke took a willing chance on him. At least he got some money out of it, the ability to get the best doctors and rehab and start a new chapter in his life in a home where everyone sees him as a legend and he's happy. Bummer it didn't work out but we're doing alright in the RB department nonetheless.

The "Ol' Coach" knew.. he knew that it would take a miracle for Latt to be able to play again..
Spurrier sure did helped Marcus with a financial foundation via Baalke.. Good things happen to good people..

He seems to be in a good place now. I'm happy for him. It's a shame he never got to play in the NFL, he looked like a sure-fire Pro Bowler. Was worth the risk drafting him imo.

Wish him the best wasn't meant to be...baalke took a chance and I'm okay with it because we are constantly drafting 10+ players every year, their not all gonna pan out.

Well, we got Mike Davis who is probably just as good as a healthy Lattimore.

Yeah, fortunately we never "needed" him and we've clearly moved on. So no harm done and a lot of good came out of it for a good man.
