I don't understand how Seattle hasn't been caught yet! For god's sakes, it's so obvious. In a regular season game back in 2013, they set the world record for loudest crowd noise in an outdoor venue with 121 decibels. (or whatever they are called) And in the playoffs with the commissioner and NFL personell in attendance, they only reached 107. Funny how the "crowd" is less rowdy and noisy during the playoffs.......

The Seahawks do it every game.

ya its pretty obvious they are doing this...guess the league doesn't want to lose profits if seahags started doing poorly while the stupid fanbase keeps buying ridiculous overpriced tickets and merchandise lol
doesn't matter tho with their blatant pumping of crowd noise they will be at the bottom of the division next year

$350K fine? That's petty change for Arthur Blank. And a fifth rounder next year? Slap on the wrist, nothing more. Too bad. I was hoping the Niners could move up a place this year.

Cleveland GM has been suspended for 4 weeks and the team fined. It does not look like Cleveland will lose any draft picks.

Too bad Paul Allen won't ever admit to doing the same. At least if the Seacawks lost a 5th-rounder that would actually be some punishment since that's where they find all their probowl players.

The NFL has taken away a 2016 fifth-round draft pick from the Falcons for piping in crowd noise to the Georgia Dome during games.
The Falcons pumped in noise through the speakers when the opposing offense was huddling up. "I think what we've done in 2013 and 2014 was wrong," owner Arthur Blank admitted in February. "Anything that affects the competitive balance and fairness on the field, we're opposed to." The NFL has also suspended team president Rich McKay from the league's competition committee and fined the franchise $350,000.

That does not seem like a very severe penalty.
Dang.

It's not just a slap on the wrist. It's a weak slap on the wrist.

The very swift judgement and hand slap here just sets the table for the blind eye that will be turned to DeflateGate. I have long held to my belief that the NFL is going to wait until right before the NFL Draft or sometime in the preseason to render judgement on the Patriots. They are just waiting for the perfect opportunity to do so when our attention is elsewhere

a little off topic but what will the league do about Guion from the Packers.
Packers agreed to terms with NT Letroy Guion on a one-year, $2.75 million contract.
27-year-old Guion was an 18-game starter for the Packers last season, posting career highs in tackles (62) and sacks (3.5) while holding up well against the run. He was arrested on Feb. 3 with 357 grams of marijuana, more than $190,000 in cash and a 9mm semi-automatic handgun in his truck, shutting down long-term extension talks. Guion somehow emerged with a mere fine and the Packers remained interested in a short-term deal despite the looming threat of league discipline.

That is more than 3/4 of pound of marijuana. $190,000 is a lot of pocket money..
Goodell has talked about personal conduct and guns.
Wonder if this Packer player gets suspended.

You'd think in a dome noise wouldn't be an issue...they'd have been better off with better players...and the 60,000 in the stadium would have more to cheer about.

Next years fifth and 350k?!?! Really? Way to set the precedent NFL. We should pipe in some of those west coast jet streams when we're on defense. Clearly worth the risk.

We need to pipe in cold air to prevent our fans from dying in the sun.
