It's bound to work out one of these times - laws of probability and all that.

if we trade for Wallace, there is no way we can take on his contract. He was ridiculously overpaid. Was just a product of Big Ben's huge arm. But Kaep also has a cannon so maybe that success can be replicated on our team

We're only 15 years in - give them at least another 10 to get it done.

wait until he is released to take a shot at him ....trading for that ridiculous contract would be a bonehead move

he is released BECAUSE he wants to get paid and doesnt want to re-structure.
we arent even going to be remotely in the running with the cap situation.
and its a good thing, mike wallace is an overpaid, overrated WR who can do only one thing really well.

I'm SOOOO Happy we never got him - especially for the bucks that would be tied up in the cap/

I like Mike Wallace But as a #2 WR ONLY!!! No way is he a #1 or ever will be. He's a 2 trick pony as far as routes go. if he did come affordable after he gets cut then maybe kick tires with him.

no.
1. he isnt special. at all. he's fast, but cant run routes and doesnt track the ball. he is no desean. not even close.
2. kap doesnt have that great a deep ball at hitting moving targets in stride, kap needs a big body guy to go downfield and catch a marginally thrown ball. in SF i think Malcom Floyd is a better deep threat than wallace, and he gets us redzone presence. go big.
