The Patriots deflated footballs Sunday night.

What does it matter with the way Indy played.

They better be doing this kind of cheating when they play the Seahawks. Go Pats!

My thoughts exactly. Now is not the time for a slip up NE! Get caught after you win the SuperBowl. That would be kind of sweet too. Sort of like a SuperBowl XL redux for the hawks. I hope Beli-cheat has some more tricks planned.

On the subject of slightly deflated balls, would it reduce the likelihood of fumbles and drops? To take a conspiracy theory turn, couldn't Seattle just as well over-inflated some balls to change the flight pattern and make them slippery? I know it was raining, but Wilson does tend to float his passes. All this said, is this probably something all teams' equipment staffs probably do?
A couple of cheating head coaches going at it in the SB
How would a deflated ball benefit or not benefit a team?

Yeah..what advantage does this give?

They should just make the SB like Speed Racer where they all cheat but the refs just look the other way. Best cheater wins.

Just the way the NFL wants it

Well don't they play with the same football? How is that more of an advantage to one team than some other team?

Each team brings their own 12-20 balls
Wait, really? Why would teams bring their own balls? That makes no sense whatsoever. That is absolutely absurd.

lolz Beli-Cheat vs. Pete da Cheat

In college, if programs break the rules, they strip titles.

They would never do that in the NFL but imagine if both teams cheated and were caught for SB 49. That'd be hilarious if Goodell, after all the money's raked in, nullifies SB 49, and awards the title to Green Bay (on the fact that Indy faked their way to the conference championship).

In both cases, whether it happened or not, it is not that big of a deal. Patriots won legitimately. Whether they win in two weeks, we'll see. I hope so, but I'm not going to count the Seahawks out.

Brady has to win it... He lost the last two times to the Giants.

With Spygate you call that victory legitimate?

He's turning into Jim Kelly after being compared to Joe Montana.

Confused - not sure the implications either.

In cold, wet weather, apparently it's easier to catch/grip a deflated ball.
