He's a great run game coordinator with a top 5 NFL Rb. Their passing game amounts to short quick outs and go routes to Watkins. It's why they will likely miss the playoffs again despite one of the easiest schedules in the NFL. They'll stay with Taylor because Ryan doesn't prioritize the QB position and go 8-8 again next year.

Give Chryst Sammy Watkins Lesean McCoy and a league average O line coupled with 10 games against AFC south NFC east and Miami and he'd have a top 15 passing attack. And for the record yes you are right he does suck. Yet he's still a better pass playcaller.

He's one of the misguided that actually believe Jim Harbaugh had this team on the road to a dynasty. Only way the 9ers have another dynasty is with an offensive mind that understands the forward pass sets everything up.

If Geep Chryst wasn't a better pass playcaller than Roman then why did Harbaugh supposedly give him the red zone play designs. Why was John Morton calling the game between the 20s. Why were there so many damn offensive coaches. It's because even Harbaugh knew Roman doesn't know the passing game. Rex Ryan knows too and that's why Roman isn't responsible for the passing game there either.

Bingo. I don't even know how to separate out HaRoman. Jim even controlled the huddle (unheard of in the NFL). The whole AR passing game. They just brought a college offense here with their coliege hand picked QB and snuck up on NFL defenses for a couple years. Once they were forced to find a professional offense, it was over.
