A lot of the negativity you'll hear is what can't be separated between Roman and Harbaugh. Roman is actually pretty good in the running game. If the HC is smart, you guys will play more of a play-action scheme. Take a look at the 2011/2012 Niners to get a good idea of a Roman-style offense. When they "took the training wheels" off Kaepernick after they traded Smith away is when these issues you hear about started. And I strongly feel it was because of Harbaugh, not Roman.
Saw a little of the Panthers @ bills preseason game and didn't seem like Buffalo was having much of a problem getting plays off on time so interpret that as you like. Also, Roman was on sideline so he can radio playcall directly to QB since he's got full autonomy as OC now.

Or, someone is phoning plays into him and the majority of his influence lies between Sunday's.

"was" pretty good in the running game coordination. NFL caught up to it after a couple years and minus CK, had absolutely nothing on the ground in the playoffs.
He's the same guy he has always been. Pass game will be a major struggle for Buffalo. Even yesterday every time Bills needed a 3rd and long conversion a deep sideline or fade got called. He ignores using the middle of the field way too much. With the speed Buffalo has at wr Clay and Shady should have field day in the middle of field but I doubt they'll get enough looks.

Wrong.

2011 we had 147 rush YPG. Good for 4th best in the playoffs

2012 we had 218 rush YPg. Good for first in the playoffs. We had the best offense statistically in the playoffs. (Oh but no credit is given for an innovative offense, at least for a year)

2013 we had 152 YPG. Good first first again in runnkng in the playoffs.

Our offense wasn't the best but when we had our horses the run game was elite.

We're about to see a real crap offense now that can't even block.

May want to save the nut swinging for a couple of years. The inefficiencies of the HarRoman offense are well documented and if you believe that Harbrokens will be vindicated by Michigan's performance, you don't know jack about the college sport.

LMAO. Too bad all of those running yards were d/t CK scrambles.

Looking forward to watching Roman put together an offense with LeSean McCoy, Sammy Watkins, Percy Harvin, Charles Clay, an average OL, and no quarterback, and a HC who wants to run the ball and run it all costs. What could possibly go wrong?!?
I want Roman to be successful just to spite Harbaugh.

In some weird ways, it's possible that even if we dumped Roman for a Kubiak or Norv Turner, Harbaugh might have still undermined them.

That's just sickening to think about.

The run game looked fine in the preseason. The offense can run block.
