In this case I wish that Jerry Rice finds a time machine, goes back to when he was in his mid-twenties and returns to play for us. Then he sends the time machine round to the Montana and Lott households.

The thing with Brees is that he can create his own offense if need be. He's got such a concept of the game that he knows how to handle almost any situation. In the same sense I think he would be past the point of carrying an offense, and basically have similar(yet different) flaws than Kaep.
At the very least we'd have 10-300 more roughing the Qb calls.

He seems to be slowing down a lot, and the Niners lack the sophisticated passing scheme under which Brees made his bones. Seems like a wildly mismatched fit.
