Srs, I hate his mouth as much as everyone here but he is a good CB and Peyton sucked some d... in february instead of raping any Hawk. This was simply embarassing.

Peyton had no time to throw and his receivers were scurred s**tless of Kam Chancellor and ET.

Agreed, they got sodomized infront of the world basically. Which is why Im thinking upset this time around. The seahawks are all the broncos have talked about all summer long. After seeing the blueprint from San Diego on short passes and continuing drives I just think Peyton's gonna pull it off. Also thinkin Von Miller might be the best OLB suited to taking Wilson down. We will see sunday

Agree because Peyton is a all-time all-pro HOFer when it comes down to win regular season games....

A small quick receiver can beat Sherman. His game is pounding the receiver before he starts the route disrupting the play. Having a pass rush makes a good corner look great.

Stevie Johnson or Bruce Ellington might do the trick.

Or if you watch the game you realized he gave up 5 catches which led to 1st downs on TD drives.... he gave up 3 to Allen alone then 2 to Royal. Stats will only count the times when he is one on one and the coverage is blatant. After his 3rd catch to Allen and then missing his opportunity he was when he is laying on the ground pounding his fist... that was still early in the game.
I did watch the game. I only remember 3 catches that were against R.S. But if there were 5 catches, and that's considered a bad day for him, then I guess that shows how good he is, because even 5 catches, all under 15 yards and no T.D's is not that bad.

Sherman is one of those players, if he's on your team you love him, if not you hate his guts. I'm a Seahawk fan, but that doesn't stop me from seeing the big picture.

So a thread for a guy having a mediocre day? I get it, he's got a big mouth, you hate him, but it ain't like he got torched all game long...the stat I read was 5 catches for something like 60 yards, 0 TDs, don't know how many for 1st downs. People used to throw parties on NT if Carlos Rogers had a day like that. And pretty sure the 49ers 1st round draft pick just gave up 3 TDs...and save the rookie and/or size excuses, bottom line is he got abused and THAT was a bad day.

We weren't talking about our rookie cb but if you want to talk about abused that would be the hawks getting dominated the whole game by the 8-8 chargers. At least the niners controlled the game for 51 or so minutes without all pro lbs bowman and Aldon, a great player in Dorsey, a very solid player in Brock and so on. Here's a fun fact
A dominant team under a good coach is not 14-19 on the road. That is pathetic. Just goes to show you, Seattle is great at home but above average on the road. Not the signs of a dominant team if you ask me.

It will be interesting to see how Manning does against them with the addition of Emmanuel Sanders. Welker should be back too. So they certainly have those elusive receivers to counter Seattle's big corners this time around.
