So the NFL expects us to believe they never had the tape despite what TMZ says, despite what the police say and despite what common sense says...

So is the media. Everyone related to the NFL hates him and this has been building up. People were hesitant to bash Goodell but now Goodell deserves it and there is no arguing against his crucial mistakes.

People: But there is recording of NFL staff confirming receipt of the tape.

Roger: That person never forwarded it the appropriate people.

This is getting really annoying. It is illegal for the police or agency to hand out materials during an investigation. If the NFL did get the tape they couldn't use it for the reason of punishment. That would be an abuse by the NFL and then Rice could sue the NFL, Ravens and the police department.
